3D Maneuvering Gear or 3DMG. This is the main way of transportation from one point to another in the tribute game. It is incredibly efficient and can be used to kill [[::Category:Titans|titans.]] As such it arguably presents one of the most fun features in the game.
Usage[]
Upon shooting/releasing a hook, it will grapple onto a surface and pull the player towards it. In the beginning, it will pull slowly, but as time goes on the speed will increase. The amount of speed gained and how fast you gain it is based on the Acceleration stat. Using the maneuver gear will consume a very small amount of Gas per hook shot. Holding down the gas key (default: shift) while hooking is an important game mechanic that allows you to go VERY fast. The hook's range is 120 feet and can it be measured with the Cursor. The usage of both hooks at the same time is suitable to move in small spaces. On default shooting both hooks at the same time is keyed to the Space Bar.
Controls:
1.) Space Bar - Double Hook Shot (Suitable in closed spaces)
2.) E - Right Hook (Referred to use in Reeling techniques)
3.) Q - Left Hook
4.) Scroll Down - Reel In
5.) Scroll Up - Reel Out (without using the rebind feature of RC Mod that lets you set reel out on a key, this is almost useless because it has so little effect)

- Operating Device - The functioning part of the operating device is a black box, which the technical department manages and improves in secrecy. The operating device has two triggers that launch the hooks, a lateral switch that aims the hooks and a brake.
- The Body of the Device - Steel wire is stored inside the body. There are two axles, which revolve independently.
- Body of the Compressed Gas Cylinder - it is connected/attached to the blade to control the blades when reloading blades or slashing
- Blades - The blades are made from a Super Hardened Steel, which is both supple and strong, capable of rending Titan flesh. It can only be manufactured in the blast furnaces of factory cities
- Fan Section - Gas is blown directly into the fan to make it rotate. The pressure of the gas is regulated to manipulate the output.
- Gas Tank - it is where the gas kept
- Iron Wire - it is attached kept in the Body of the Device
- Blade Handle - it is where the blades are connected and also used to release the Iron Wire
Trivia[]
- In previous versions of the game, there was no hook graphic, instead, a small cube represented the hooks. In the recent versions, there is a hook that appears in the surface of the attached object
- If you fire a hook while at high speeds, depending on what angle you shoot at, the wire will bend.
- Shooting a human with a hook attaches you to them. Which also makes it hard for them to escape from your grasp.
- In some mods, when the hook attaches to any human it immediately kills it.
Tips[]
- Holding Q, E or the Space Bar for a long time assures, that you will arrive close to the point the hook is attached to. To speed up that process you can reel in once hooked.
- Use the Double Hook Shot when in tight spaces.
