The City is a playable map in the Attack on Titan Tribute Game. It is based on the cities in the Attack on Titan canon universe, this one in particular similar to Shiganshina and Trost.
Surroundings[]
The city itself is surrounded by a very tall wall with two gates on either end, one of which with a large hole inside in which the player can go in and out of. Scattered within the space are buildings, as well as large pillars in a few spots. There is a reload station at the spawning area. Outside the giant walls is nothing but a narrow road. There's an invisible wall at the edge of the map preventing you from falling off.
Strategy[]
The houses and occasional pillar make grappling somewhat hard and restricted. Try not to run into narrow alleys. However, due to the houses, it is a great map for beginners because they can 'rest' on top of them without getting attacked (unless a Punk is nearby).
Humans[]
Use of the large middle building is recommended, as attacks will not reach you if you are at the first or second roof. If you are on the lower of the two, use the higher part to sheild you from stray boulders. You can make titans stuck in the corners of the small pillars against the big walls. This prevents them from moving, and allows you to attack safer.
Player Titans[]
Try to get players in a narrow ally, where 3 slap combos and ground pounds will do the most damage. Be wary of overhead bridges that might impede your movement. If you want to make the battle more interesting, then use the parts of the wall that stick out. As an abnormal, you can slowly walk up them. You can use this to access that weird ridge in the middle of the wall, or go to the very top. If you go to the top, there are very few things to grapple onto, making the battle very onesided.
Trivia[]
- Occasionally, while flying above the Wall, a Jumper might jump and try to eat you. If it misses, it could land on the Wall.
- This Map is also used for the Colossal Titan game mode, which involves players battling the Colossal Titan.
